In the beginning...

When you move somewhere with "sun" in the name you'd think there'd be a lot of sun - seems like a fair assumption. Not if you're me it seems. We've been here for over a week now and I think we've had 2 days of sunlight, the rest have either been raining (a nice change after the years on the edge of the desert) or overcast.

The move has gone well, the house is set up and the cat has settled. She loves the amount of space she now has and the fact that tiles are awesome for skidding around on.

With the move my knitting has been severely hampered, but I've been doing a little bit. I'm working on my first fair isle jumper and it looks cute. The tensions a bit odd while I muddle my way through the pattern, but it's passable. I've got a list of things I want to start work on, but no momeny for wool :( Will have to be strict so that I can order some soon!
